I learned something new at Disney's Pop Century today. I already knew that at about 6:00 pm the food court becomes a disco and for a few minutes guests are going back to the 1970's to dance The Hustle. Today, however, I learned that at the same time they also dance The Hustle in the hotel lobby. Several cast members from the front desk performed for guests just checking-in for their Disney vacation.
We spent several hours at Pop Century today taking in the over-sized scenery and enjoying conversation in the Everything Pop Shopping and Food Court. Today we shared a personal pepperoni pizza - hot and fresh from the oven. In fact, that's the reason we ordered it.
Often we see the pizzas sitting in the window waiting to be served. We're never sure how long they've been lingering so we're also a little reluctant to order one (we've had our fair share of not-so-hot pizzas). I'm so glad I spotted these being pulled from the oven. It was piping hot and a perfect treat to share.
The personal pizzas at Disney restaurants are thick-crusted (think a mini pan pizza) that are baked providing a chewy and hearty dough. If you can catch one warm from the oven, these are filling and worth every bite.
